Why Use Online Classified Ads?

In 1995 the beginnings of on-line classified ads posting came alive with the Job's board of Craigslist.  Over the last 15+ years the landscape of Classified ads has change tremendously.  Most of you will be thinking "of course it has changed"  but let's take a look at some of those changes and in my opinion for the better.

If you have a Job, or a Product, Service, Car, Boat, RV to sell or advertise, where is the first place you think of listing it?  Most of us, turn on the old trusty computer and place an ad on any one of the top classified sites.  Why, it's simply faster, cheaper, and it is seen by a world of customer's. 

It amazes me how many businesses still consider the newspaper to be the medium for advertising.  Do you have any idea how much money it costs to list in the newspaper?  Thousands for a typical car dealer to post his ads every month. and truly, how many people can say they last picked up a newspaper to look for a car, or a house, or anything for that matter.  Most of us fire up the old computer, or there smart phone to do just that.  It's instant and they can search based upon the key word for what they truly want.

With the era of smart phones upon us, we are now able to view a mobile site, which in essence is a "lite" version of the full site.  More opportunities for our classified ads to be seen as well.  How much does it cost once again to post on a classified ads site? For most listing's zero!  Unless of course you want paid featured listings, or you have a job to post. 

Most people ask why charge for a Job listing, quite simply it prevents the schemers from posting fake ads.  Most schemers won't spend a dime to get your business!

Wait, you posted your masterpiece in the newspaper and want to make an change to the wording.....go ahead, make the call.......oh....it won't be changed until tomorrows run?!  Exactly, online listing, you can change instantly and try different combinations of wording to see what gets you the fastest results.

So once again, why choose Online classified ads?  I think I have pointed out some basic reasons, and there are so many more!

Why MyPrice2u.com?

Do people really know why they start something like a website?
 Is it the insomnia that hits you in the middle of the night?  Or perhaps it is just the frustration of being told you cannot post a free classified ad because someone did not like what you said, or offered?  Or EVEN BETTER.....tell you that your ad is posted and yet, you find it is a ghosted ad.....in otherwords   You did all of that work for absoulutly nothing!

Yep, you guessed it, I was all of these!  I would spend precious time to post 10 simple ads for cars for sale, just to watch them get flagged nearly as fast as I could post them.  Eventually I gave up.  But then in the middle of the night, MyPrice2u.com was born.   Was this my first name choice?  No, I must have thought of 100 different combinations, but none of them just felt right.  Finally....yep you guessed it....MyPrice2u.com was the grand prize winner.  :)

The crazy thing is most people never realize just quite how much work a website can be to run, start or get off the ground.  It takes me a lot of time just to post ads, market, and to keep the scammer's away, but at the end of the day, I know I can post anything I want to, and it will still be there in the morning.
