Why Use Online Classified Ads?
In 1995 the beginnings of on-line classified ads posting came alive with the Job's board of Craigslist. Over the last 15+ years the landscape of Classified ads has change tremendously. Most of you will be thinking "of course it has changed" but let's take a look at some of those changes and in my opinion for the better.
If you have a Job, or a Product, Service, Car, Boat, RV to sell or advertise, where is the first place you think of listing it? Most of us, turn on the old trusty computer and place an ad on any one of the top classified sites. Why, it's simply faster, cheaper, and it is seen by a world of customer's.
It amazes me how many businesses still consider the newspaper to be the medium for advertising. Do you have any idea how much money it costs to list in the newspaper? Thousands for a typical car dealer to post his ads every month. and truly, how many people can say they last picked up a newspaper to look for a car, or a house, or anything for that matter. Most of us fire up the old computer, or there smart phone to do just that. It's instant and they can search based upon the key word for what they truly want.
With the era of smart phones upon us, we are now able to view a mobile site, which in essence is a "lite" version of the full site. More opportunities for our classified ads to be seen as well. How much does it cost once again to post on a classified ads site? For most listing's zero! Unless of course you want paid featured listings, or you have a job to post.
Most people ask why charge for a Job listing, quite simply it prevents the schemers from posting fake ads. Most schemers won't spend a dime to get your business!
Wait, you posted your masterpiece in the newspaper and want to make an change to the wording.....go ahead, make the call.......oh....it won't be changed until tomorrows run?! Exactly, online listing, you can change instantly and try different combinations of wording to see what gets you the fastest results.
So once again, why choose Online classified ads? I think I have pointed out some basic reasons, and there are so many more!

MyPrice2u.com is growing!
Lots of excitment today! With MyPrice2u.com I have been working on establishing a site that offers you the best in content, and to make sure I keep the scammers away. PLUS work on getting my rankings to move up on the google side, as well as all of the other sites. Today I was excited to see I have just hit page 2 on google. Whew! I just had these horrifying images of having to pay someone to do the SEO and SEM on my site, and work my way up thru the organic search.
Needless to say, I hope it won't be too terribly long when I can proudly say that MyPrice2u.com has hit page one. I am sure it is a long time before it does, but heck, I am still proud still!

It's all about the Stats right?
Most of us who run a site, or a small business, or just go to work every day, know it is about the STATS right? But really, how much weight do those "STATS" mean.
My excitment with MyPrice2u.com came when I hit my first milestone marker with the website. The first true visitor to my website, the first ad to be posted, the first time I received a membership request, and so on.
Today, I am proud to announce yet another "STAT" We hit out 11750 viewer today! That to me is just huge! Now for some of you WebGuru's and SEO specialists, no this is not open season on MyPrice2u.com and I don't need my mailbox filled with promises in the dark. I am just saying this is pretty darn cool!
Of course, I want more visitors, and I recognize I NEED more visitors, but heck, I restarted the site of February 4th of this year, and so far I could not be happier.

Why not try this Twitter?
For those of you who has a twitter account, or has finally crawled out from under the rock they were living under :) You know when you follow someone, that person receives an email that tells them who just followed them. The email also lets them know that they either follow that person already, or gives them a link to follow them.
I think Twitter should give this email a bit of a face lift, and here is what I would add to it:
Congratulations! Someone thought you were important enough to follow @whoever is now your new twitter member.
Would you like to follow @whoever as well? Click here to follow @whoever
Or would you like to be polite and tell @whoever one of the following choices:
A) Thank you for the follow, We appreciate it, Im following you too!
B) Thank you for the follow, But Im like a one night stand, I just want to use your name for a #, not really be in a relationship with you.
C) Thank you for the follow, but can't you see I am way to famous to follow someone like you. I mean really!
D) Thank you for the follow, but I only tweet about me, and could care less about who you are!
E) Thank you for the follow, but can't you see...I have thousands of followers and I only follow a 100 people, and you are not going to be one of them!
This would cure a few problems, at least you know you wasted your time, and could unfollow right away.
Twitter could eliminate the need of telling all of those companies to stop doing the bulk unfollow.
Oh I could keep going I am sure, in fact, wouldn't it be fun to start this today and see what kind of responses we could get?

Great Comments!
I was lucky enough a few nights ago to sit down and type out my first blog for http://www.myprice2u.com/. I did gets some private messages from a few of you that sat down and read their way thru it. It is truly amazing the amount of people out there that support the idea of a quality classified ads site. I appreciate those kind words, and I will work hard to try to bring something new and refreshing to http://www.myprice2u.com/!
Meanwhile, I spoke with my Graphics person today, and he is working on a new Logo graphic for me, and doing some other changes to the header on my site. If you want some quality work done for you, Brian is well worth your time and trouble to give him a try. webbb82@gmail.com Yes it is a shameless plug, what the heck, you can do that on your own blog! :)
So MyPrice2u.com is still growing along. I have been seeing and average of 70 visitors a day to the site, and about 20 of those are brand new visitors. I am thankful at least the average time is running around 3 minutes a visit. More work ahead of me, but I truly enjoy the challenge!
